Week 36 · Fri 4th September 2026Dear fellow Members, Players, Parents, and Supporters,
Best of luck to all our Ballincollig GAA, Camogie and LGFA teams in championship action during the week ahead.
This week, I had the privilege of bringing together the Chairpersons of our Senior, Juvenile, Camogie and LGFA sections for a positive and inspiring discussion on the future of Ballincollig GAA.
What stood out most was the shared passion around the table. While each section has its own identity, challenges and ambitions, there was unanimous agreement on one thing: we are strongest when we move forward together.
Our conversation focused on how we can align our goals, resources and efforts behind a common vision for the club. A vision that puts our players at the centre, values our volunteers, supports excellence on and off the field, and ensures that Ballincollig GAA continues to thrive for generations to come.
The success of any club is not measured solely by trophies won, but by the strength of its community, the opportunities it creates for its members, and the legacy it leaves for those who follow. The spirit of collaboration, respect and ambition shown at this meeting gives me great confidence that our best days are still ahead of us.
These conversations are an important step in ensuring that we move forward together, working as one team for the benefit of the entire club. The future is bright, and I look forward to seeing our shared vision become a reality in the months and years ahead.

Tom Dorgan

The first one starts in Ballincollig at 2pm on Saturday September 5th. Register, spread the word, and enjoy the walk for a very good cause. Each walk is 4.5km and is suitable for all levels of ability!
